Coffee Preparation

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, cold brew, and iced drinks, based on customer orders.
  • Grind coffee beans, steam milk, and brew coffee using espresso machines, drip coffee makers, or French presses.
  • Ensure all beverages are made to specification, consistently meeting quality standards.

Customer Service:

  • Educate customers about the different coffee options and help them find their favorite drinks.

Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Keep the coffee station, utensils, and equipment clean and organized, following health and safety regulations.
  • Regularly clean espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other tools to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Restock supplies (e.g., cups, syrups, coffee beans, milk) as necessary.

Teamwork:

  • Work collaboratively with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in opening or closing the cafe, including setting up the workspace or cleaning at the end of the day.

Handling Special Requests:

  • Accommodate special customer requests (e.g., lactose-free, vegan options, extra shot of espresso, etc.).
  • Handle allergies and dietary restrictions with care to ensure safe drink preparation.

Inventory Control:
