Legal Manager/Supervisor, Makati

Legal Manager (70k-100k monthly + Comprehensive Benefits) 

Location: Makati City, Philippines  

About the Company: Our client, a leading company engaged in home improvements, hardware, real estate and manufacturing businesses operating nationwide, is looking to hire a Legal Manager for their home improvement and hardware business units. This will be based in Makati City.

The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to the company's operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to management. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to all departments, including operations, marketing, human resources, and finance
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including consumer protection, data privacy, and labor laws.
• Manage and oversee litigation and legal disputes particularly on credt collections.
• Conduct legal research and provide updates on changes in legislation
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.- Manage relationships with external legal counsel.- Protect the company's intellectual property rights. 
• Educational Qualifications: Registered Lawyer
• Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in a legal role.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficient in compliance, litigation, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice.
• Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee legal affairs, manage legal risk control, and handle credit collection and claims.
• Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional overtime and deadlines.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to work under pressure.
