Description

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
Implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insightful information to senior management
Ensure the company's accounting practices adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance their skills and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making
Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to proactively adapt the company's financial practices

A bachelors degree in accounting is required. Candidates with a degree in business administration or finance are also accepted, provided that they have completed specific accounting coursework
Must pass the Uniform CPA Examination administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in the United States or other countries that have their own CPA examinations or equivalent certification exams administered by professional accounting regulatory bodies.
After passing the CPA exam, the candidate must have an updated CPA license.
Must have at least 6 months to two years of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing.
