Leachate Treatment Plant Supervisor, Makati

Operations & Maintenance

 Manage daily Leachate Treatment Plant (LTP) operations ensuring effective treatment and discharge.

 Monitor and analyze system performance; adjust operations for optimal efficiency.

 Conduct routine inspections, calibration, maintenance, and repairs of equipment like pumps, aerators, and filtration systems.

Compliance & Reporting

 Ensure adherence to DENR and other regulatory requirements.

 Maintain accurate documentation of sampling, analysis, and treatment logs.

 Prepare and submit compliance reports and coordinate water quality audits.

Staff Supervision & Training

 Lead and support plant operators and maintenance personnel.

 Facilitate training on safety, equipment handling, and environmental protocols.

 Enforce safety and emergency procedures to mitigate spills and contamination risks.

Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency

 Identify opportunities to enhance treatment performance and reduce costs.

 Implement technological upgrades and optimize chemical and sludge management.

 Liaise with suppliers for chemicals and spare parts procurement.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Management

 Enforce strict safety policies; perform risk assessments to reduce environmental impacts.

 Manage safe handling, storage, and disposal of treatment by-products and sludge.

  Bachelors degree in Sanitary, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  3-5 years experience in wastewater or leachate treatment operations.

  Expertise in treatment processes, chemical dosing, filtration, and regulatory compliance.

  Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.

  Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and handling regulatory documents.

  Familiarity with DENR regulations, environmental permits, and lab protocols.

  Ability to work efficiently under strict compliance standards and in a fast-paced environment.

  Experience with Leachate Treatment Plants (LTP) is a strong advantage.
