Waiter, Bataan

A Food Server is responsible for taking accurate orders from customers and serving/delivering their food to them. 

Duties include explaining the menu to their customers, making recommendations for complementary products, communicating with kitchen staff and delivering orders to the appropriate table or area.

• Greet customers
• Arrange food on trays, take and serve orders correctly and promptly, communicate with Kitchen Staff for refill following proper procedures
• Load trays with accessories, such as condiments, napkins, and eating utensils
• Prepare food items such as soups, salads, sandwiches, and beverages
• Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order in the dining area or delivering orders to offices following proper procedures
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to Management if and when necessary
• Works quickly, paying attention to details and attend to multiple responsibilities at a time
• Performing other tasks around the service area, kitchen and dining area that may be assigned from time to time
• At least High School graduate 
• Proven restaurant serving experience for at least six (6) months
• Training through previous relevant experience or on-the-job training
• Excellent customer service, including patience and professional behavior
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Active listening, critical thinking skills and time management
• Ability and willingness to collaborate
• Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods (and lift up to 16 k/women or up to 25 k unassisted/men)
