Description

The Cook prepares meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.


  • Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment like knives, pans, and food scales
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients, cooking food in a timely manner
  • Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
  • Inform staff about daily specials
  • Ensure appealing plate presentation
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers, coaching Kitchen Helpers for optimum output of tasks
  • Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by the Management
  • College Level
  • Diploma in Culinary Science or related certificate
  • Proven experience as a Cook
  • At least two (2) years working experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Credentials in health and safety training
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Dedicated to food quality and safety
