Job Description

This position, under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, will be in charge for receiving, storing, and releasing of merchandise & monitors the movement of stocks in the warehouse. To be specific, you will be doing the following:


Responsibilities

  • Monitors & records arrivals, stock transfers, orders, and returns to suppliers
  • Orders new stock to ensure there is completeness of merchandise at the selling area
  • Tags merchandise before transferring them to the selling area
  • Verifies & checks all items before being brought to other branches
  • Does periodic stock count in the warehouse according to set schedule to ensure accurate records
  • Ensures proper storage, cleanliness, and orderliness of work area to ensure systematic flow of work
  • Checks all merchandise/items and other equipment are kept and secured in the designated area
  • If assigned as Store Officer In-charge; manage Store's Cash and Check Sales collections for deposit and assume custodianship of Store Funds such as Loose Change Fund and Petty Cash Fund
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time


Qualifications

  • At least SHS graduate
  • Fairly built
  • With or without experience is okay
  • Willing to be assigned at SM City Cebu Department Store (DS Cebu)
