A Kitchen Helper (or Kitchen Assistant) supports chefs and waitstaff by performing essential cleaning, sanitation, and basic food preparation tasks to ensure efficient, safe restaurant operations. Key duties include washing dishes, peeling/cutting ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, organizing inventory, and removing waste. 

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, cutting, and sorting fruits and vegetables.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Operating dishwashers, scrubbing pots/pans, and sanitizing food preparation areas.
• Kitchen Support: Assisting cooks with basic tasks, plating, and stocking workstations.
• Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, and maintaining general hygiene.
