Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead and manage local IT & Digital team (at least three members), guiding day-to-day operations and fostering

team development and engagement.

Translate and implement the global IT strategy into local operational plans and initiatives aligned with business

growth and objectives.

Manage full IT lifecycle including infrastructure, applications, system development, and support to ensure

reliable, scalable, and secure services.

Collaborate closely with business units (Manufacturing, SCM and support functions) to provide tailored IT

solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive digital transformation locally.

Act as the primary liaison between the Philippine subsidiary and the global IT & Digital department in Japan,

ensuring consistent communication and alignment on initiatives, standards, and policies.

Partner with global and regional teams on defining and executing data management strategies, focusing on data

integrity, analytics, and compliance.

Oversee IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance in accordance with local laws and internal

policies.

Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical IT assets and systems.

Manage local IT budget and procurement processes in coordination with global finance teams.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to adopt new technologies and IT best practices that support business

innovation and cost optimization.

Provide clear reporting on IT performance metrics and progress on strategic objectives to senior management.

Participate as a leadership member in global and local IT forums, contributing to strategic discussions and knowledge sharing.



QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Demonstrated ability in leading IT infrastructure, systems development, digital transformation, and data

management.

Strong business acumen with experience working in resource-constrained environments and aligning IT initiatives

with business strategy.

Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and matrix teams in a global, multicultural context.

Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to IT in highly regulated industries and experience in

maintaining compliance.

Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical

stakeholders.

Proficiency in English (business fluent); Japanese or other language skills are advantageous but not required.

Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to drive decision-making.

Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity practices, and emerging digital technologies.

Physical Requirements: (travel, lifting, typing, driving, sitting, special requirements around hours etc.)
